- Free Press profile of Kalin Lucas: Nickname is “too easy.” Struck by tragedy as a 5-year old. Worth a read.
- Izzo Post-Game Press Conference: He comments that they had some “strange lineups” out there last night. Some times I think he does this on purpose to keep MSU margin of victory down. If I recall correctly, part of IPFW’s big run came with both Naymick and Ibok on the floor for MSU.
- Mid-Majority College Basketball Trivia Contest: Too late to enter, but the answers are up. I didn’t realize there were 341 colleges playing Division 1 basketball. Seems like there were only a few more than three hundred just a couple years ago.
- MSNBC’s Beyond the Arc looks at the remaining unbeatens: If only we’d held on to that lead vs. UCLA, we’d have a decent shot at being the last remaining unbeaten.
- Off the Tracks (a Purdue blog) debuts basketball coverage with Big Ten power rankings: They dare to rank MSU behind IU, pointing to the GVSU exhibition loss. Tough to pin down who #3 should be. Off the Tracks goes with Wisconsin. I probably would, too, based on historical track record, if nothing else.

Yeah, I’d go MSU, Indiana, Wisconsin. If we learned one thing, it’s never count out the Badgers.
